About Us

RedPath Financial was founded by Rod and Ian in 2008 with just one goal in mind: to treat their clients like they expected to be treated.

Both Rod and Ian became mortgage brokers well into their working years. Rod had previously worked in software sales and Ian had worked in the financial printing industry. At different points in their lives, they both experienced difficulties in arranging their own mortgages and knew instinctively that there had to be a better way. As fate would have it, Rod and Ian decided upon a career in the mortgage industry within six months of each other and ended up working at the same mortgage brokerage. Five years later, they went out on their own and founded RedPath Financial.

Along the way they added some quality people to the mix. Steve was the first to join, a friend and mortgage broker from years back who is knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and passionate about being a broker. Then came Tania—whom they quickly found out they would be lost without. Tania helps everyone navigate the mortgage process with patience and grace.

At RedPath, we base our interaction with our clients on straight-up mortgage advice that starts with a long-term perspective of what is best for each client. Whether that communication is by phone or email, we always strive to answer our clients in an informed and timely manner. Our services are provided to our clients with the mindset that our ultimate loyalty is to them and not to any one bank or lender. That loyalty is at the very heart of why we are mortgage brokers, and a big part of why we are very good at what we do.
